Terms of Service

Welcome to Onzenna. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Onzenna parenting application and related services (the "Service") provided by Onzenna ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "User" or "you" means the individual who creates an account.
  • "Service" means the Onzenna mobile and web application, including Orby (our AI companion), the storefront, and related features.
  • "Orby" means our AI assistant feature, which uses third-party language models (currently Anthropic's Claude) to provide conversational support to parents.
  • "Household" means the family unit you create or join within the Service, which may include partners, caregivers, and child profiles.
  • "Content" means any text, images, log entries, or other information you submit to the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is designed for parents and caregivers; the children whose data you track within the Service are not Users themselves.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to extract data about other Users or households
  • Reverse-engineer, exploit vulnerabilities in, or attempt to manipulate Orby into revealing system information or other Users' data
  • Upload Content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the Content you submit to the Service (your child's logs, photos, journal entries, etc.). By submitting Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process that Content solely to provide the Service to you and your Household members.

We do not sell your Content. We do not use your Content to train AI models.

6. AI Features (Orby)

Orby is an AI assistant. You acknowledge:

  • Orby is not a medical professional. Information from Orby is not medical advice. For health concerns, consult a licensed pediatrician or healthcare provider.
  • Orby may make mistakes. AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Use your judgment.
  • Orby learns from conversations. With your consent (see Section 7), Orby may infer and store information about your family to personalize your experience. You can review, edit, or delete this information at any time in settings.
  • Conversations are processed by Anthropic. When you chat with Orby, your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. We have a Data Processing Agreement with Anthropic governing this processing.

7. AI Personalization Consent

During onboarding, you will be asked to separately opt in or opt out of AI personalization. If you opt out, Orby will still work, but will not store new memories or inferences about your family. You can change this setting at any time.

8. Subscription and Payment Terms

The core Service is currently free. We may introduce paid features in the future, in which case we will provide notice and obtain your consent to any charges before processing payment.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete My Account" feature in settings. Upon deletion request, your account enters a 7-day cancellation window before permanent erasure is executed. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is deleted and what is retained.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONZENNA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Governing Law
